Life As We Know It

Living in Madrid is AMAZING! I mean, the quality of life here is perfect for us. We love the niceties of life, good food and wine, beers and tapas, the hour of aperitivo and afternoon siestas. In a few hours drive, we can be lying on a tranquil beach or walking through lush green mountains. So why leave you might ask? Good question! As this bold move becomes more real, I keep asking myself the same question. However, being lucky enough to be able to return here in the future gives us the confidence we need to move away. We want to challenge ourselves, discover new passions, learn, adapt and break out of our perfect Spanish bubble. Wow! I really hope this enthusiasm continues!
